The lifespan of a Manu is denoted by the term Manvantara. Manavantara is the age of Manu or 100 years according to their motion of time and cannot be equated to 100 years of earth. A Manavantara is a Vedic unit of time comprising 71 Chatur Yugas. Therefore, it can be said that 71 Chatur Yugas are 100 years of Manu’s lifetime.
On receiving the son of Brihaspati, Shukracharya was delighted and with much love he decided to impart the knowledge of Sanjivani mantra to him. This brought immense displeasure to the Asuras and they attempted to murder Kacha. To their astonishment their guru, granted Kacha life every time they plotted against him. Repeatedly they encountered failure until a foul plan struck their mind.

Therefore, Brahma writes the individual fate of the living entities and commences upon the Vyasti Shristi. Fate is a report of all future, present and past events and their reactions designated for man to undergo. It is not a mind-creation of Brahma, but instead it is a report of one’s own Karma.
Sri Rama told Sita Devi: “See, I have built this bridge along the sea which will in future become a place of worship. Whoever comes to this pilgrimage and worships Me will have his sins reduced to ashes. Therefore, you must look at this site carefully and shower your blessings, so that devotees are receive maximum benefits from it.”
Common man when overpowered by lust, commits regressive activities while spiritual love, devotion or Bhakti endows one with progression in both spiritual and material field of life. Spiritually one is able to focus on the goal of life while materially one gains more charge of one’s own life without giving in to the flimsiness of the mind.
