Understanding the position of the great Acharyas of Sanatana Dharma is a preliminary condition for one to be accepted by the Power of the Dharma. Unless one learns and understands the high philosophy of these great world- teachers one cannot probably be qualified to enter the spiritual realm that Sanatana Dharma represents.
Understanding the position of Lord Rama, is to stand with Truth. It is important for man to make sense of opposing ideologies and viewpoints within the world. Unless there is harmony among antipodal viewpoints and perspectives, there cannot be progress in Truth. It is important to choose our ideals in such a way that one can orchestrate a complete harmony among those ideals. If that art is supoosed to be mastered, one should take pains to understand the character of Lord Rama.
A Sage, is one who is the epitome of Truth. Unless one becomes capable of recognizing a sage, it shall be difficult to discriminate between what is true and what is a lie. A Sage is a personfied representation of the Vedic Scriptures. If one is able to get the association of a true sage, understanding the scriptures shall be simplified. One has to first be able to read the symptoms of a sage.
In order to reconstruct a life of service based on a high value system, it is necessary to undertake a deep study of the lives of seers and sages who are the torch-bearers of Sanatana Dharma. Sri 108 Tatwale Baba is one such sage. His teachings are succinct and hard-hitting. If man were to even apply once principle in his own life, it shall be an examplary life.
Life of sages, is incomprehensible for most people. However a person who is committed to sadhana or spiritual discipline, shall be able to find meaning in the lives of great sages. the Gita Press was the house of three such sages, who have been able to keep the light of Dharma glowing, even in this dark age. Understanding and appreciating the life of such sages is an essential part of spiritual practice.
